Sophie Warren
Ph.D. Student
Sophie completed her B.Sc. in biology at Sam Houston State University. She has previous research experience in molecular microbiology. Sophie is interested in understanding the epigenetic mechanisms that regulate cell fate decisions in the cerebral cortex.
Adhyeta Choudhuri
Ph.D. Student
Adhyeta completed her M.Sc. in Genome Science at the University of Kalyani in India. She has previously worked in molecular microbiology. Currently, Adhyeta is studying the role of autism-associated genes in chromatin regulation and cortical development.
Bader El Farran
Ph.D. Student
Bader completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Bioinformatics at the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur. His previous research involved the identification of genetic variants in primary immunodeficiency. Bader is interested in developing computational pipelines and tools to study the epigenetic mechanims of neurodevelopmental disorders.
Thu Nguyen
Undergraduate Student
Thu is majoring in Biology. She has been awarded the Provost’s Scholarship and named to the Executive Dean’s List. After graduation, she plans to attend medical school.
